The magazine features Rob Gronkowski, Blue Jays home run hitter Jose Bautista, US women’s national soccer team forward Abby Wambach, New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler, Candace Parker plying in the WNBA, tennis player Daniela Hantuchova and MMA fighter Ronda Rousey.

My personaly favorate may be MMA fighter Ronda Rousey.

What do you want people to know about you?
RR: I don’t care about people’s opinions. Nonfans pay tickets just as well as real fans. I just want them to remember me. I’m trying to be the most dangerous unarmed woman in the world while also being as pretty and feminine as possible. I want to be remembered as somebody who had zero respect for the limits placed in front of her.

“Hardcore” rapper The Game is up to his idiotic antics releasing a video of him chasing after G-Unit rapper 40 Glocc as if he was an 18 year old with no kids. In the video he allegedly pulled out a gun and flashed it around while filming as 40 Gloc runs away from The Game and his crew. Since I am retired and no longer “bout dat life” internet thugging is as far as it goes for me.

Since when do gangsters film themselves while committing a crime?

According to reports Bank of America allowed some of the deadliest Los Zetas drug lords to use accounts to invest in us horse racing. There has been a drug war going on for years in Mexico, as a result of the violence hundreds of people have lost their lives to the conflict.

In May 43 men and six women, were found with their heads, hands and feet chopped off and dumped at the entrance to the town of San Juan, on a highway that connects the industrial city of Monterrey with Reynosa, across from McAllen, Texas.

Mass body dumpings have increased around Mexico in the last six months of escalating fighting between the Zetas and Sinaloa, which is led by fugitive drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, and its allies, the federal Attorney General’s Office said in statement late Sunday.

According to Reports:

A powerful Mexican-based drug cartel used Bank of America accounts as a way of investing money in its U.S. horse-racing operation, the Wall Street Journal reported Monday.

Citing a 75-page affidavit filed in a federal court in Austin, the Wall Street Journal said it learned from FBI sources that Los Zetas had deposited or withdrawn about $1.5 million in two Bank of America accounts since December 2009.

Seven alleged members of the cartel, which is accused of running a crime kingdom stretching from the U.S.-Mexico border into Central America, were arrested in early June. Several leaders of Los Zetas remain at large, federal investigators say.

The Journal, citing federal sources, said Bank of America is not accused of any wrongdoing and has been cooperating with investigators.
The alleged link between the Zetas and horse racing was disclosed last month, during the arrest of the seven people. Those taken into custody included Jose Trevino Morales and his wife, Zulema Trevino. Federal authorities say Morales is the brother of two of the cartel’s alleged leaders, Miguel Angel Trevino Morales, nicknamed Z-40, and Oscar Omar Trevino Morales, known as Z-42. They are at large in Mexico, according to the FBI.

Federal authorities accuse Los Zetas of smuggling cocaine, heroin, marijuana and crystal meth into the United States. But the cartel also is involved in extortion, kidnapping and oil theft, according to federal investigators.
Federal investigators last month accused the Zetas of being behind the horse-racing operation named Tremor Enterprises LLC.

Tremor Enterprises was based near Oklahoma City, Okla., and had become a leading figure in the quarter horse racing industry. A horse owned by Tremor, Mr. Piloto, won the All American Futurity in September 2010 at Ruidoso Downs in New Mexico. That is the biggest race of the year for quarter horses.
During the arrests last month, the 28-year-old trainer of Mr. Piloto, Felipe Quintero, was among those taken into custody.

In its report Monday, the Wall Street Journal said FBI papers showed a check for nearly $900,000 was deposited into a Bank of America account held by Tremor Enterprises followed the 2010 All American Futurity.

Stars Ray Romano, Queen Latifah, and John Leguizamo stopped by ‘Today Show’ Monday morning to discuss their new film ice age. During the interview Ray Roman discussed the evolution of his character, claiming that his character is “living what I am living” since he has a daughter off to college this year.

Latifah lends her voice to the mammoth Ellie, “the “voice of reason,” who is the wife of Manny, Ray Romano’s character. Queen Latifah mentioned during interview that that reason she continued the project is because the kids love it.

“This movie is really fun. I continue to do it because the kids love it my nephews and nieces love it…”

This is the fourth installment of the movie “Ice Age : Continental Drift ” with guest features from Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj, Wanda Sykes and Drake.
Nicki Minaj recently discussed her character for the movie and she describes Queen Latifah as an inspiration.

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta Star Joseline took to the stage for one last time in the club in Atlanta, Ga. Joseline is all smiles after announcing to the world that she was pregnant by “Steeebie J” on her reality series. Looks like she decided that being pregnant was not in the cards and decided to get the writers to remove her fetus from the series via a scripted abortion.

Nicki Minaj performs at the T Music Festival

Pop Star Nicki Minaj ruffled some feathers according to Contact Music. Turner of the band The Sleeping Souls tweeted about Nicki Minaj’s diva antics at at T in the Park.

Turner re-tweeted a message from his backing band The Sleeping Souls, which read, “You know what? Nicki Manaj (sic) can just f**k right off… backstage her security guy just pushed a crew person off the path into the mud so she could walk past.”

To clarify: Nicky (sic) Minaj has been being a total selfish s**thead to all the hardworking crew backstage at T. Pathetic. F**k off. You can (I suppose) be a d**k to your own crew, you’re paying them. But everyone else? And not to mention the people out front. Ugh… Also for the record: I have no opinion either way about Nicki Minaj’s music, don’t think I’ve ever heard it.”

So the last 12 hours have been interesting. I posted some thoughts on some shennanigans I witnessed backstage at T in the Park, and then got inundated with poorly-written bilge for a while on Twitter. You can have a read on my feed here.

I have no interest in rehashing the specifics of what happened, it’s not, in itself, a massive deal to me. I still don’t really know who Nicki (sic) Minaj is, and I don’t really care. I have no opinion on her music, for all I know she’s a genius. Good for her.
The central point I wanted to make, and the thing that got me pissed off in the first place, is about respect. A lot of bands (and me) spend a lot of time talking about respect for the people who listen to your music, the people in front of the stage, the “fans” (I still hate that word) or whatever, and rightly so; personally, I feel that showing up late and not apologizing is a little weak. But the thing that got to me yesterday was more about respect for a different group of people: the crew.
There are an awful lot of people who work on making shows and festivals happen who don’t get to stand in the middle of the stage and bask in anyone’s adulation. In fact, it’s the vast majority of people. This includes my crew (sound guy, guitar tech etc.), the stage hands, the promoter who books the show, and the hundreds of people who run the backstage organization, and more. These people all work their arses off, they’re there from first thing in the morning to last thing at night, and they don’t get paid as much as the musicians on the stage. Without them, nothing would get done, there would be no shows for anyone to enjoy. I couldn’t do what I do without my crew.

Running a festival is a logistical nightmare; it takes a lot of people an awful lot of time to make sure everything runs even vaguely smoothly. If there’s one person in the midst of this who has a pretty easy, highly paid job (show up, mime, go home) who refuses to do this, and thereby fucks up the day of all the hard-working, sleep-deprived, exhausted, under-appreciated festival crew, well, that pisses me off. It means everyone has to do a ton more work just to make sure that the people at the festival and all the other bands don’t have their day ruined.

For some reason, doing this when you’re holding a microphone makes you “artistic”, “difficult” or maybe a “Diva”. In any other walk of life it’s called being rude, selfish and inconsiderate. Of course, Henry Rollins already said this better than I ever will.

Looks like they pissed him off!
