Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta is an Atlanta based spin-off of the original Love & Hip Hop series premiers tonight but if you want to catch the episode earlier check it out below. The cast seems quite interesting, you have MiMi who is delusional about her relationship to producer Stevie J who is bedding his ex-stripper artist Joseline. Stevie J and MiMi’s been dating for 15 years depite the $ex tape the producer has out with Eve released during their courtship.
Stevie J seems like the washed up producer that’s still holding on to his “use too” days. I USE TOO work for Jay Z, Badboy and artists like Mariah Carey now I am working with an ex-stripper turned rapper. Can someone scream Classy to Ashy! Stevie J outright disrespects his girlfriend MiMi and allows his ex stripper male artist to do the same. It’s sad that MiMi is allowing herself to be Stevie J’s port a potty.

Then you have Lil Scrappy who has been dating his baby mother Erica off and on for years. In between their relationship was rapper Diamond from the rap group Crimemob and Buckey from ‘Flavor of Love’. Erica’s cabinets tells me that Scrappy is not handling his family business as they look a tad project. Poor poor Erica is holding on to that ideal of having a family with rapper Scrappy and his crazy Momma D. Ladies let this be a word of advice, if the mother is crazy and claims to be number 1 in her sons life, pack your bags and hightail it out of there immediately. She will be a constant issue in your relationship. Diamond made the right decision backing out of this season because it looks like Mona Scott was trying to set her up to look like a homewrecking fool. It would be in bad taste for her to get beat up by Momma D on television.
Then you have the rest of the crew, K Michelle who was married to rapper Memphiz, discussing how “he” spent her entire advance check on jewelry and “Chris Brown’d” her on occasions.
The best part about the first episode was that Rapper Rasheeda was nowhere to be found, which means there is still hope for a character with sense and class on the show! Please don’t let us down Rasheeda.
Love and Hip Hip is produced by Stefan Springman, Mona Scott, Toby Barruad, Stephanie Gayle and Carlos King. The series is directed by David Wolfgang and Jade Sandberg.
